I have every song from their first four albums, which is 50 songs, and I can't get in the mood for a single one. That is just saddening. I imagined they could make a comeback if they went independent and came up with new material, but they're just way too far gone. 5FDP used to be my favorite band and now they've dropped into my bottom 10 instead of top 5. It's like they think they're badasses, except the truth is they're just simply rich losers. To be honest, more bands should refrain from restricting themselves to a genre and just play what they want, which helps prevent going mainstream or just go independent and prevent themselves from being widdled down piece by piece by a record label. This specifically just feels like a piss-poor attempt at a cash grab.

I think it's great. Brings me to tears each time I watch it. Love hearing Ivan always. Although haven't seen them since morning to Las Vegas. Would be great gave them home for an evening. Love that they are all collaborating together and hooking up with Gary S. I've seen Lt. Dan band several times. Being the daughter, granddaughter, and wife of military men that have taken their own lives I try to do all I can to support our Military as well as our 1st responders every day. Hoping to return for my masters ASAP for a therapist license.ad I found I cannot do enough as a QMHA rehabilitation specialist. Y'all are the best. Keep it up. Hope to see y'all soon. Let the haters hate the just jealous. Lots of Love. TD.
  • This band can’t make their own hits

It seems like every so called “hit” FFDP has is only remakes of other bands music. I have no clue how and why they are as famous as they are.

Love this song by KWS. May like it even better with the heavy edge.
  • Well it was an effort 🤷🏽‍♂️

Idk how to process this song because it does not sound like FFDP. The vocals are auto tuned which Ivan does not need. He has amazing vocals so this is really unnecessary. I’m getting more of a country vibe from this song than I am metal. They’re kinda selling out on this song. Hopefully they’ll go back to their roots that made them famous in first place. If you’re a fan of FFDP be prepared to be disappointed in this effort. If you’re a casual fan you might think this is ok and it’s fine but it’s not a true FFDP song. It’s just really disappointing to hear them change their signature sound that made them so great in the first place

The writing was on the wall with how their music has gotten lately, and now it’s here. A country-ish version of a FFDP song, complete with a “country” artist guest starring. Listen, I am SUPER appreciative of FFDP honoring and respecting first responders/military. The message they are trying to get across, expressed in their own words, is much appreciated. That’s not my issue. It’s the music itself. I really miss the harder, gutsier FFDP. The way this song seems to be blowing up, as most soft, billboard-crossing songs do, will only make them continue to be soft.
